Fuse Board Replacement
Fuse Board Replacements
We are approved and assessed annually by NICEIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting) to complete a range of planned and ad-hoc testing of electrical installations. Our reports are fully compliant with BS 7671 IEE wiring regulations BS 7671: 2018+A2:2022 and suitable for insurance or conveyancing requirements.
I specialise in testing, inspection and reporting on domestic, commercial and electrical systems, both as part of planned or requested inspection and testing or as part of the fault fault finding process and having gained extensive experience in fault finding and testing of electrical circuits can often minimise the requirement for remedial works
Sometimes abbreviated to EICR or referred to as landlords certificates Electrical Installation Condition Reports are a requirement during most house purchases or sales, and periodically throughout the life of an an electrical installation. (Read more below)
We can also undertake Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), fire alarm and Emergency Lighting testing.
How often do I need an electrical condition report?
Although there is no law on how often these reports need to be carried out there are guidelines and it is generally the competent person’s decision on when they should be done. The guidelines on when these should be done are below
- Domestic Installations – Change of occupancy or 10 years (Whichever is soonest)
- Residential Accommodation – Change of occupancy or 5 years (Whichever is soonest)
- Commercial Installations – Change of occupancy or 5 years (Whichever is soonest)
- Industrial Installations – 3 years
